Kinetic Rain

First it was gardens full of sunflowers, butterflies, and fragrance. Now, Singapore’s Changi Airport has further cemented itself as a destination in it’s own right with ‘Kinetic Rain’, a mobile installation by German design house ART+COM. Over 600 copper-coated aluminium raindrops ‘dance’ in fluid motion, choreographed to perfection with the use of light and shadow. The effect is incredibly calming, and just the thing to help weary travelers recharge. Now all I need is an excuse to make a Singapore stopover! But until then, I will be watching the video below over and over and over and over…
