Portraits Unmasked

Portraits without faces… sounds like an oxymoron, right? Argentinian artist and architect Federico Hurtado begs to differ. His ‘Restratos sin Mascaras’ series believes faces to be masks that hide what’s really in our brains/souls, and only by removing those masks do we get the true portrait. Makes you wonder what would explode out of your own head…
